We did it again! Actichem, Ichimaru, and Ajinomoto held their 3rd joint technical seminar on “Japanese Cosmetic Ingredients and Trends for Skin and Hair” last September 29 at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel. The whole-day affair was attended by a slew of company owners, executives, and R & D people from around the Cosmetics Industry.
Ichimaru was represented by Mr. Norihisa Kawai from R&D Division and Marketing and Advertising Department; Dr. Kazal Boron Biswas, R&D Division Manager responsible for developing ingredients for anti-aging and skin whitening; Mr. Yuji Usui, Marketing Manager for Asian Market specifically China and Taiwan; and Mr. Takeshi Tsukuwaki, Marketing Manager for Korean and ASEAN market. Ms. Ooi Sok Koon, the indefatigable Product Manager of Ajinomoto’s Specialty Chemicals Division who is responsible for providing technical support in personal care for South East Asia, Australia, China, and India customers represented Ajinomoto, Inc. as usual, joined by Ms. Stephanie Ng, Sales and Marketing Executive for the Specialty Chemicals Division.
New active and functional ingredients, latest trends and technology, and new and innovative formulations for skin and hair were presented by this roster of seasoned lecturers. Ichimaru unveiled their latest products SkinBaby for sensitive skin care and SkinGuard for pollution care for the first time in the Philippines. Mr. Kawai presented New Clinical Study Data for Clair Blanche II while Mr. Tsukawaki discussed the synergistic effect of CinderellaCare and MandarinClear in formulation for 24-hour beauty and transparent skin.
Among other things, Ms. Sok Koon discussed Facial Cleanser Technology with Amilite GCS-12K and Prodew 500 for hair and scalp care, while Ms. Stephanie Ng presented Hair Shampoo Trends in Japan.
