The Copper Tripeptide has been the rage in the cosmetic world for the past few years and thanks to SC Group and Actichem, Cosmetic Peptides are now in the Philippines.

Copper Tripeptide is both a signal peptide and a carrier peptide. As a signal peptide, it triggers wound-healing or skin-regenerating mechanisms that activate fibroblasts in response to fragmented chains of collagen and elastin. In simple terms, there will be more collagen production making the dermal structure stronger and sturdier and the skin firmer.

As a carrier peptide, it delivers copper into the skin, resulting in enzymatic, skin-regenerating pathways to enhance collagen synthesis to answer the problems of lines, wrinkles, and sagging due to age as well as external factors such as UV damage.

Copper Tripeptide-1 is a blue powder in its purest form but Spec-Chem offers it in solutions for easier handling and usage. Available in Actichem are the ff.:

• SpecPed GHK-Cu 0.1% solution; recommended dosage: 5.0-10%
• SpecPed GHK-Cu 1.0% solution; recommended dosage: 0.5-5.0%
